Team Gathers for COSAFA Castle Cup

I don’t know about you, but I am excited that the Palancas are playing this week. The COSAFA Castle Cup is not the World Cup, but it is a good competition and it will help coach Goncalves make some decisions about who to take to Germany. Some of the domestic-based players have already gathered in Luanda to begin practicing for the competition in Lesotho. The guys playing abroad like Mateus, Jose Quitongo and Arnald will be joining them later this week.

The team departs for Lesotho on Wednesday. It should be really interesting to see how we do against Mauritius with this many Angola-based players. I think this will give a few of the guys a real chance to shine. Hopefully my main man Love will get a chance to play. I think he could really contribute this summer if given a chance.
