Santos Scores in Al Gharafa Win

It was a good weekend for Angola’s Freddy Santos. He notched a goal in Al Gharafa’s 2-1 surprise win over league leading Al Sadd in Qatar. Santos took advantage of a misplayed ball by Al Sadd’s defense and found the back of the net. Santos needs more games like these if he is going to figure into Angola’s plans for the World Cup. Santos did not play for Angola during the African Cup of Nations nor was he called up for the recent friendly against South Korea.
