Mateus Makes it

May 10th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | 2 Comments »

The reports are that Mateus is going to be part of Angola’s final 23 for the World Cup. The striker who plays for Gil Vicente in Portugal was impressive in Angola’s recent COSAFA Castle Cup matches against Lesotho and Mauritius. He shouldn’t be confused with Mateus Matinungina the midfileder who plays with Sprimont Comblain Sport, Belgium. So if Mateus is indeed on the team then who will be the other three forwards? Akwa, Love, Mantorras, Titi Bwengo and Flavio are all candidates. Only three of them will be chosen. Shall be interesting.

[Edit: Thanks to Kiko for correcting my sleepy first post.]

Thanks Kiko. Corrected it. I am asleep at the wheel today. Too much work. Go Palancas!
