Destination: Cologne

Angola opens up its World Cup campaign on Sunday, June 11 against Portugal in Cologne. It should be quite a setting for the Palancas first World Cup finals match ever. The RheinEngergie Stadion was built in 1923, making it the oldest venue in this year’s tournament. With a seating capacity of 51,000, there is a perfect mix of size and intimacy. The stadium is the home of FC Koln, a team currently battling to stay in the first division of Germany’s Bundesliga. For a historic game, this historic stadium is going to be simply awesome. I hope it is rockin’ with Palancas supporters!
