Angola to Get Friendly with South Korea

February 15th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »

Angola has inked an agreement to face South Korea in a friendly scheduled for March 1. While Angola fans are disappointed that the game is being played in Seoul and not in Luanda, this is still great news. South Korea is one of the best teams in the world and should give the Palancas Negras an indication of the level of competition they will face in Germany this summer. It is also worth noting that the trip should afford the Angolan players the opportunity to eat kimchi, the national dish of South Korea. Kimchi is very good for your health and some people believe it helps protect you from the bird flu currently spreading around the world. So in short, the friendly will be good for our team’s football and its health.

Anyone planning on going to Korea for the match?
