January 14th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »

In its second to last tune up before the African Nations Cup, Angola defeated German Second Division squad Kickers Offenbech 1-0 in Spain.

Captain Akwa scored the lone goal of the match 18 minutes into action in a game in which Angola played all of its players on its roster.

The Palancas Negras will play a friendly against Morocco on January 17 before heading to Egypt for the African Nations Cup where it is in a group with fellow World Cup qualifier Togo, traditional power Cameroon and the not so powerful, but aptly named Democratic Republic of Congo.
