Angola Back in Hanover, Take on US Monday

June 4th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »

The Palancas are back at their training facility outside of Hanover. On Monday the team will face the United States in a scrimmage that is closed to the public in Hamburg. The team will try to regroup from a disappointing second half in a 3-2 loss to Turkey. The scrimmage against the United States should prove to be another good test as the team finalizes its preparations for the World Cup. It stinks that this game won’t be open to the public, but hopefully there will be detailed reports so we can see what changes coach Goncalves makes to the lineup.
