Time to Dream Big
I’m still feeling great about the performance of our team last night. Sure there are some problems that need to be addressed (like Goncalves insisting on one striker), but overall the Palancas put on a performance that showed the world that they play with heart and courage.
While we can all spend today feeling proud of our team, let’s hope the players aren’t celebrating too much. They still have a job at hand and they shouldn’t be satisfied with one point.
Group D is wide open and if things fall into place Angola has a very real possibility to advance. First and foremost the team has to beat Iran. This will not be an easy task, but it can be done if we play up to our capabilities.
In addition to a win, we also will need some help from either Mexico or Portugal. One of the two will need to beat each other. We’ll know which one to root for after Portugal plays Iran today.
One game does not make a World Cup, but Angola’s tie against Mexico gives us hope. The dream is still alive. We can do it!

Time to Dream Big???
Are you joking? You guys in Angola really believe that your team will advance from this group?
You have to win some games and in order to win it you have to score some goals and in order to score some goals you have to attack and shoot on goal …
The best Angola can get against Iran is another lucky goaless draw if your goalkeeper plays like he did against Mexico.
Your attack is simply too bad for this level…
And your style of play is disgusting, reminds me on italian catanaccio, not pleasant at all to watch…

Its time to play attacking football! If Goncalves carries on playing so defensive, we are not going to win. Why not start Love and Flavio, now that Akwa and Mateus have had their chance? Even Gilberto said that Angola lacked creativity. I was happy with the result yesterday, but I was worried because we didnt look like we would score.
