Manucho to make his debut v Villareal
Manucho is likely to make his debut for Man Utd in Wednesday’s match against Villareal. Although I doubt he will start the match, he is likely to replace Berbatov in the subs bench.
Berbatov is currently struggling with a minor knee injury and if he does not recover in time for the match, Manucho will be selected instead.
I reckon that if selected, he will play for less than 15 minutes. Hopefully he will take his chance in the team and will be selected again soon.

Unlucky not to make the squad. Maybe he needs to improve his fitness, as he just came back from injury.

i want to customize my at the back the name is osei number is 99

His chance will come, he must work as hard as humanly possible and the rest will take care of itself.
It is still early days, theres still many competitions to come and he will get his chance and hopefully he’ll grab it with both hands.
Kiko, Just as a sidenote: have you heard anything on the Kivuvu story?

Manucho made his debut today against Middlesborough. Played the last 10 minutes only though as expected.
Im guessing that the FAF (Angolan FA) forgot about Kivuvu and have failed to apply, as there has been no news about him.
If that is the case then its a real shame and a huge loss.

Its good to see Manucho on a football park again. I hope that will be the begining of greater things to come; and aparently according to the manchester united website on a statement atributed to Alex Ferguson he said that Manucho is not completely healed his met-injury.
As for the Kivuvu episode, if it is indeed true that they havent done anything about its a crying shame.

Just so you guys know, Manucho played in the reserves game and apparently according to the Manchester utd official website, he showed neat touches, clever link-ups and “tremendously powerlful play”. This was his first 90 minutes since his injury a few months ago.
This is good news for both Man Utd and the Angolan national team.

This is wonderful to hear.
However, on another news front, I just heard from the grapevine that Oliveira Goncalves has been relieved of his duties as a senior national coach, an honour that will be untrusted on his former assistant coach Mabi de Almeida, albeit just for the game against Niger.
I find this decision to be puzzling and quite amusing at the same time, not because of the fact that he was fired but the timing of it. They could’ve simply waited for 2 weeks to pass by and see whether we’ll qualify for the second stage of the 2010Qualifiers and thereafter fire him.
The media in Angola seem to think that Angola can only have a slim chance of qualifying if Uganda loses its last game at home, that assertion is false and the fact that it gets printed out just like that smacks of ignorance and stupidity as proper would’ve shown that we need goals but we dont need Uganda.
After all this rant, Iam gona take a break, i’ll finish my posting later, Lol
