Mantorras to Play in Champions League
Pedro Manuel Mantorras might not be slated to play in Angola’s upcoming friendly in South Korea, but he will see action today when his club team Benefica takes on Liverpool in Champions League play. Mantorras has not played for Benefica since January - largely because he was in Egypt to play for Angola’s African Cup of Nations team. It is always fun to see our players play against the top competition in the world and although I am mad at Mantorras for being a whiner who got his feelings hurt because he didn’t play much in the CAN, I do hope that he can show his stuff against a legendary team like Liverpool. I only hope I can get my satellite to work before kickoff.
