Mantorras Might Move to England Premiership
Angola striker Mantorras says that he might be headed to the Premiership in England. Mantorras saw limited minutes for Benefica last season and did not feature much in Angola’s World Cup games. There is no denying his talent, but injuries and lack of playing time have hurt him the past couple of seasons. With the right team, he could really blossom, so I will be keeping an eye out to see if he does, in fact, make the move during the December transfer window.

At last he seems to be showing some ambition!
If he played regularly at Benfica, then there would be no point in him moving but he doesnt play much. I think that might be the right decision.

Is the Angolan Manger going to be fired… I heard people in Angola are need too pleased with him?

It seems that absolutely no one wants him to remain as manager. It will be a big surprise if he does.
In my opinion, they should let him go. He did really well when he led the team to qualify to the WC but then he went on to show some serious lack of ambition- That will cost him the job.

I like the guy… but I also feel he played it a little too safe… I think he can add a lot of value to Angolan Football… I hope they work out something that players amd managers can all agree with… I kept on studying over and over the PORT and MEX games… and I think we have wonderful style of play… I think the midField was locked down 80% of the time… our passing is beautiful(just need to perfect it)… and at times we where making PORT and MEX look poor… I hope we do the right things to make our Football better and killer(i mean that in a good way)
Kiko… Do you think we can make it to SA 2010?

It will be mighty difficult for Angola to make the 2010 WC as teams such as Egypt or Cameroon could be drawn in our group and at the same time they will have the “we are going to win the World Cup” attitude, as it will be played in SA. This is not to mention that football in Africa will have improved dramatically, by the time the qualifiers start.

I think you are right… this will be hard SA 2010… but if we plan well and study the teams we will face… and not under rate any team… we can be a force… we just need to plan, study and organize super well… we may have a good shot… just hope we do not under rate any team and keep a low profile…
