Gonçalves in Portugal to Lure Pedro Emanuel to Angola

Angola Press reports that Angola coach Oliveira Gonçalves is in Potugal today to try to convince FC Porto defender Pedro Emanuel to sign up for Angola national team duties. I really hope that Gonçalves is able to pursuade Pedro Emanuel that playing for the Palancas Negras this summer in Germany is something that is in his best interests. Emanuel is an experienced defender who could fit in nicely in the place vacated by Yamba Asha after he was suspended for doping. If the African Cup of Nations showed us anything, Angola needs to be better on the backline. Emanuel could be a difference maker for Angola this summer. Pedro, if you are reading this now I beg you to come play for your country of birth!
