Favorable Draw for Angola’s 2008 CAN Campaign

February 23rd, 2006 | By: WC Bob | 2 Comments »

Didn’t the African Cup of Nations just end? Oh well, today we learned the draw for the qualifying rounds for the 2008 tournament, which will be held in Ghana. Angola was thrown into an easy group with Eritrea, Swaziland and Kenya. The winners of the group and the top three runners-up qualify for the finals. Kenya will prove to be Angola’s toughest opponent, but I don’t see how the Palancas Negras don’t win this group. Book your tickets to Ghana now. Angola will be there.

I am a Zambian but I like the way Angola football plays. When they mean to fight for the ball they really do it.
Keep it up and see you at the world cup SA 2010.
Thank you

Today is the final decision day for the Angolan squad. If they make it through, it means we Angolans can compete with other big African Team, such as Ghana, Cameron, Egypt and Cote Ivore. Come on Angola! Go for it!
