Angola to Play Exhibition Thursday

May 23rd, 2006 | By: WC Bob | 4 Comments »

Angola is going to play against a collection of local players on Thursday in Celle, Germany. The 8pm game will give the team a chance to stretch their legs and to face different opposition as it continues to tune up for the World Cup. The Angoland Football Federation also has announced that the June 2 friendly against Turker has been moved from Utrecht to Sittard, Holland.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how the team plays in these exhibition matches. The results aren’t as important as the lineups we see and the experience the players will gain playing against Argentina, Turkey and the United States. I also will be keeping my fingers crossed that our team maintains good health. All indications from training camp are that the players are fit and training hard.

This is so exciting!
