Angola 1-1 Japan (Olympic team)

According to recent reports, the game was a formidable affair, and the fact that most players were under23 its a good omen for the future. Also they trained only once in Paris for purpose of this game, all in all they perfomance should be comended.
Apart from the players on display I think there’s more Angolan talent around the world, here are some of the players that I think may add value:

André “Titi” Buengo (born 11 February 1980 in Luanda, Angola) is an Angolan football striker who currently plays for Amiens SC.
He is a member of the national team, and was called up to the 2006 World Cup.
Despite being Angolan, Titi Buengo can’t speak Portuguese, after living so many years in France and Switzerland, Titi Buengo can only speak in French.
He moved to France at age of 8, he rescinded his commitmemt to the national cause after being overlooked for games, but with a little persuation he may change his stance.

Djalma Braume Manuel Abel Campos (born 30 May 1987 in Luanda) is an Angolan-Portuguese footballer. he plays for C.S. Marítimo.
He actually was originally selected to play against Japan but he withdrew at the eleventh hour only to be called up by Portugal under21 a week later. However he still is able to change his international allegiance.
He is the son of Abel Campos, who played for Petro de Luanda as well as Sport Lisboa & Benfica and represented Angola in 1996 nation Cup.

Luwamo Garcia (born 1 May 1985) is an Angolan footballer who currently plays for RKC Waalwijk. Garcia is a forward who was born in Luanda and made his debut in professional football, being part of the RC Genk squad in the 2003-04 season. He also played for VVV-Venlo before joining RKC Waalwijk.

Kamata started his career at Auxerre. He left for Groningen in summer 2002[1], but home sick made him returned to Ligue 2 for Clermont Foot in January 2003. He then played in Ligue 2 until signed by Legnano of Serie C2. he helped the club promoted to Serie C1 in summer 2007. After a half of 2007-08 Serie C1 season, he was signed by Bari in Serie B

Diangi Matusiwa (b. 21 December 1985) is an Angolan footballer with FC Omniworld. He was also called up to represent Angola at the 2008 African Cup of Nations. He is also a citizen of the Netherlands.

Hélder Graca Neto (September 5, 1982) is an Angolan football striker who currently plays for Doxa Katokopias in Cyprus.

Francisco Zuela (born 3 August 1983) is a Angolan/Portuguese footballer with Skoda Xanthi of the Super League Greece. He formerly played for Associação Académica de Coimbra.

Stélvio Rosa da Cruz, aka Stélvio (born January 24, 1989 in Braga) is a Portuguese defensive midfielder who plays for SC Braga, being promoted from the youth academy in 2007-08. He is of Angolan heritage.

o jogo foi mau. os angolanos foram os piores. valeu o final mais animado. o oliveira mexeu no team e lá surgiu o empate.
o manucho me surpreendeu pela negativa. embora tivesse ajudado a igualar o encontro, ele nao esteve em forma. se calhar faltou-lhe o flavio ao lado.

Hi All,

I am a fan of the “unknown” club FC Omniworld. Omniworld is a club in the first division of the Netherlands. We started in this division 3 years ago, so we are a pretty young team.

Diangi is with us since the beginning of this season and scored 9 times in the last 24 games he played. He is one of the more populair players of the team. But one downside, is is doubting to leave for another team. We hope he will stay for at least one more season.

Tonight we have to play a important match for the champignonship, zo we will miss Dianga very much.

By the way… Thought that Diangi’s first game for Angola was during the match against Ivory Coast. That game was played in France.

Hey Ronald, It is true that Diangi was called up for the game against Ivory coast but iam not sure he actually made it to the field of play hence he was not considered for the nations cup. However, at least we can say he has taken his chance.

É de entender o porque que o jogo da seleçaö foi desantrosado, a seleçaö só treinou uma vez em conjunto, e além disso tiveram muitos jogadores novos.
