Akwa Shooting for Goals and Europe
Our skipper Akwa promises that he is going to do a better job of scoring goals at the World Cup then he did at the African Cup of Nations and based on his recent form I don’t have any reason to dispute his claim. In addition to playing for pride of country, the striker is also playing for a contract in Europe.
“All players dream to play in one of the best two leagues in the world – in England or in Spain,” he explained.
“It is my dream to play in one of those two leagues and if I perform well at the World Cup, I believe I can get a good offer from a European club.”
You know that the opposing teams will be giving Akwa a lot of attention at the World Cup, but I happen to think he has the talent and desire to live up to his expectations. What do you think? How many goals will Akwa score?
I’m going to say 4 goals in the first round.

Akwa will score 1 goal. I hope that is enough for him to secure a contract.

Akwa just needs to be himself and play solid ball. They’ll be looking at him.
I think we ought to keep an eye on Mateus.. that dude has a nose for goals…

If Akwa is lucky, he will score 2 goals at the World Cup. It will all depend on how his colleagues perform as well as him. It frustrated me when he missed all those chances he had at the African Nations. We will be doomed if that happens again.
